In her heart, she always loved design, fabrics, and the charm of Jaipuri block prints. She had a natural flair for home decor, and a deep love for her cultural roots. And during those reflective months, she asked herself: “What if I follow my dream?”
When Passion Meets Possibility
Starting a business was never part of the plan. She didn’t come from a business background. She belonged to a traditional Rajput family, where women rarely stepped into entrepreneurship. But what she had was vision, passion, and the unwavering support of her husband.
She started small — very small. A room in her house became her first store. A few suit sets, handpicked and carefully displayed, made up her initial inventory. But what she offered was not just products — it was warmth, authenticity, and her story.
She named the brand Label Kalwa — inspired by “Kalwa,” her sasural (in-law’s village), as a heartfelt tribute to the family she belongs to and the values they gave her.
